Malaysia is a Southeast Asia country, It’s known for its beaches, rainforest, and mix of Malay, Chinese and Indain cultural influences. Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia with many shopping districts. so anyway if you plan to stay just 1 day in Kuala Lumpur I will show you how you can have an absolutely amazing time in Kuala Lumpur.
Places to visit in Kuala Lumpur in 1 day
There are many things to do in Kuala Lumpur in one day. So we will start the day by visiting one of the Chinese temples located in Kuala Lumpur.
Thean Hou Temple
Thean Hou Temple is one of the oldest and largest Chinese temples in Southeast Asia. The temple was built with beautiful Chinese architecture. if you go up to the top of the building you will see a very beautiful roof decoration. There are many Chinese red lanterns hanging in and the temple is reasonably high. you can look back to see the atmosphere of Kuala Lumpur as well.
On the way to the next attraction, I'd like to recommend you to visit Chinatown. It’s one of most visited in Kuala Lumpur. There are many things that you can buy there and cheap, there are also street food that you can buy at a reasonable price.
Sri Mahamariamman Temple
Not much far from the Chinatown you can find the Sri Mahamariamman temple, the oldest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur. The temple was built featuring the ornate Raja Gopuram tower in the style of South Indian temples. But before you enter the temple, You have to take off your shoes in front of the entrance. Don't worry that your shoes will disappear. Because in front of the entravce has a shoe storage service point.
Sultan Adbul Samad Building
Next attaction, One of the most beautiful things to see in Kuala Lumpur is Sultan Adbul Samad Building, The building was built as a British Raj Style building and an impressive and beautiful. You can walk to see around the building. It’s clean and quiet.
The next stop on our Kuala Lumpur tour itinerary is Petronas Towers the most famous landmark in Kuala Lumpur. they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004. With a height of 452 meters. Inside the building is a large shopping mall. There are many international brand products. If you don't feel like shopping You can take a photo with the building in the front.
And not far from Petronas Towers You can find the park in the city center. it’s called KLCC park. A park with an artificial lake and a huge children’s playground. you can walk around or relax in the park. Also you can see Petronas Towers from this park.
The last thing I'd like to recommend you If you have a little more time is to visit Batu caves one of Kuala Lumpur’s most frequented tourist attractions. Batu caves as we know is a Hindu temple and shrine. Inside has three main caves featuring temples and Hindu shrines. The first thing when you get there, you will see the large statue of the Hindu God at the entrance besides a steep 272 climb up with rainbow color. And on the way up You will find many monkeys and don’t seem friendly. I suggest that you should not hold small bottles or snacks with you because they will try to take it from you.
On my journey To tourist attractions I only used Grab application in the smart phone to get a taxi in a minute because It's the fastest way to travel in in 1 day. or you can choose other options, such as using public transport. It’s also a good one.
I hope you enjoy and have a great time.
